    1. Make that a trick! I say show belly for a half roll. I don’t believe you teach dogs tricks, only actions and names for said actions.

  1. I love that you always kiss dogs, it really shows how much you love them! One should always kiss their dog! 🙂

  2. Wow thanks that really helped me train my dog playing dead and roll over it only took like 3 mins

  3. i love to see true dog lovers doing this.. thanks for the video im so gonna try the play dead and roll over

  4. Omg I love your videos… Lol I am putting my “trainer hat”. Thanks a lot!!!

  5. I’m one of your biggest fans! Why? Because of your enthusiam!!! Yes, you teach well. But, your emphasis on the relationship between training and the trainee is actualy, as you say, a “revolution” in training. Laidies and gentlemen, why do you have a dog? If the first answer is not regarding love, then rethink what you’re doing with a dog. The love will create the patience needed to train your dog. The love will allow mistakes that your dog will inevitably make. And in return, you’ll be loved. You’ll be in better shape (Dog walks and training burn calories!). You’ll be happier (Thinking of others as well as the scientifically proven oxytocin release between owner and dog both create happier and healtheir people.). And good surprises along the way as the relationship develops between owner and dog, I promise that!
    Happy Positive Training Folks,

  6. My shih Tzu  was too smart, she would turn her head the other way instead of foolishly rolling her whole body over for the treat..

  7. Love this channel. ZakGeorge is the best channel that I have found that does dog training. Thanks Zak, this has really helped me with my Labrador Retriever

  8. Loving your videos! I’ve watched so many in prep for getting my first puppy in a month

  9. This is such an amazing channel! It helped me a lot! Getting my labrador pup in a week!

  10. Once my dog sees a treat.. he sits.. I tried lure training him.. that doesn’t work.. any tips?

    1. So if you watch howdog rockstar zak George does it, he has the dog sit, treat, verbal -sit- then he has the dog follow the *new* treat so that the lie down, it follows it to the ground. Treat. -verbal lay down- Then he has the dog look over its shoulder so it is forced to roll over. Treat. -Verbal play dead-. Then he has the dog follow through to a full roll. Treat. -verbal roll over-. I got my dog all the way to their back. Working on a full roll over. German Shepard. Very impressed dog rockstar Zak George!! Having the dog take the food directly from your hand with help with food sharing issues, thanks from a different video DRZG!!

I just stumbled upon your videos while browsing huskies singing vids- and I have to say- you’re *awesome* and your dogs are, too!

Thank you for letting other people see for themselves and believe in the incredible potential our pets naturally possess- and how much richer and rewarding our lives become when we give our time, attention, respect and love to our dogs! You have a knack for explaining. What a gift!

I’d only like to add some additional encouragement to the pet owners out there: don’t give up! Once you figure out your dog’s currency, is like you’ve unlocked a door… They love- dare I say it- exist- to ‘work’, and please you. They love repetition (much like our kids do!), they love to be praised (yup, like kids!); I’ve found the benefits are huge!

You have a new subscriber, Loki🐈, and I are going to take a LokiLook at the frisbees videos you made as well. I’m excited to see other people who understand and enjoy their dogs as well.

Please- keep up the important work you’re doing! With your youth, energy and positivity, you’ll reach a lot of people, and improve the lives of both man and beast 🤓😉, I just know it!
